Bloody Mary Swizzlers

24 cherry tomatoes
1 cup lemon-flavored vodka
24 almond-stuffed green olives or vermouth-marinated green olives
3 or 4 stalks celery with tops removed, diagonally sliced into 3/4- to 1-inch pieces (24 pieces total)
Celery salt
24 cocktail picks or skewers

Using a plastic or wooden pick or a sharp skewer, pierce the skins of the tomatoes in several places. Place tomatoes in a self-sealing, food-safe plastic bag; add vodka. Seal bag. Turn bag to coat tomatoes. Chill mixture overnight. Drain tomatoes; discard vodka. Skewer an olive, a piece of celery, and a cherry tomato on each pick. Sprinkle lightly with celery salt. Transfer to a serving platter. Makes 24 skewers.

**Tortilla Pinwheels**

A great make-ahead appetizer. When I served these to my Euchre club, everyone wanted the recipe!

24 ounces cream cheese
8 ounces sour cream
2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoon picante sauce or salsa
1/2 tsp. Cayenne pepper
6 green onions
1 jalapeno pepper
20 flour tortillas
Picante sauce or salsa for dipping

Soften cream cheese slightly and blend well with sour cream. Finely chop the scallions and jalapeno pepper, and blend into the cream cheese along with the lemon juice and picante sauce. Warm the tortillas slightly just to make them pliable (the microwave works fine). Spread the cheese mixture on each tortilla and roll up tightly. Place on a plate and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Chill overnight or until cheese mixture is firm. Slice into 2" pieces and serve with additional salsa for dipping.
